Hi. For a long time did not show pictures of my bass. A few days ago I bought 4004L and he's surprised me... It's cool!

Nice trio. How are you getting along with that new Laredo? My avatar pic Cheyenne made me lose interest in 4003's and 4001's, which I had been playing since the late 70's.
Parcel with 4004 came a few days ago. I have not used it on gigs. It struck me comfort when playing this instrument.
I bought my first Riсkenbacker only five years ago (4001-1977), previously I had never played on them. I used different basses before started using Ric. Many bassists do not like Riс, but I am delighted with this bass.

Are you sure that's Sea Green......it looks to be a Turquoise actually. It may just be the lighting but Sea Green is more of a pastel color.

Yeah, maybe so. Thank you! I have little information on the names of colors Rickenbacker, I looked at catalogs and said the most suitable.
I photograph the bass in the daylight, I think it will help determine the correct color name.
it looks like turquoise to me, which is an equally rare color! great find,Victor! also it's one of the 4004's with the offset pickups,like my 2004 cii.

They did turquoise for about 10 years. Sea Green was 2 years if I remember correctly.
okay,"relatively rare",would at least apply!
and it's also one of MY favorite solid colors RIC ever did....

Even with the long span I've seen relatively few 4003 models. I've only seen a handful of 4004s. Not to say I see or know everything by any stretch but I'd certainly classify a Turquoise Laredo as a rarity.

VERY NICE!
It looks like EMG pickups.
I found the Schaller 5 string bridge to be a nice upgrade from the stock bridge.
Also on mine the 4 band Audere preamp is a nice upgrade, and I like the tone of the Nordstrand pickup.
Black hardware would look really nice on that bass.
