One of my good friends used to play trombone. He never claimed to be any good, but the slide-y playing always cracked me up! He would often ham it up as much as he could too.i used to be a trombonist but i sucked, i couldnt blow hard enough

I believe it's one of the Artist Series models, but don't know anything beyond that. Hopefully someone who knows will chip in.im in the same situation, i got no info about my 5 strings samik bass one-piece..
i didnt find nothing in the web. somebody knows?
Hi, while trying to identify my bass I found "The Samick Club". I have a 4-string that has to be the same series as your 5-string. Googling around I found this site: G
The model on my bass must be Samick GB 637 and yours should be GB5-627 or GB5-639.
This is a very nice bass, easy to play but hard to find, even the information was almost impossible to find. I will never let this bass go, it's definitely a keeper. These basses was produced only 1991-1992.
Hi from Sweden!

Got this SAKB56690FL TGR a few months ago.
Good sounding fretless, well built.
That's beautiful.Came across this 'Ultramatic'. Anyone familiar with one? MIK
S/N starts with S0204.... would that possibly indicate 2002?

Samick is still making this Greg Bennett modelThat's beautiful.
Dropping in to see if anyone knows if Greg Bennett guitars are still being made. I gather he died, and my phone won't let me access the website.
My dad has a rather nice semi hollow 6 string GB. I had the pleasure of meeting Greg when I was working at GC around 2003ish and he was traveling around teaching staff how to use and sell the roller capo. Nice guy and very enthusiastic.
I don't have any particular desire for one, but his guitars always seemed to punch above their price point. They're practically given away on the used market.
Well, this (above) got away due to dragging my feet and life...Came across this 'Ultramatic'. Anyone familiar with one? MIK
