Now, I remember the Saturn being FET based, while I believe the Atlas is silicon based.
Aside from the volume spike, do you feel there was any difference in the tone/vibe of each of these?

To me, the Saturn sounded better. Sometimes more expensive equals better. But in the case, no. Maybe on guitar it might be better pedal than the Saturn. But even on guitar the Saturn rocks. For the cost, the Saturn is hard to beat for both guitar and bass….

So, some thoughts from me on this.
Yes, the Atlas cost more.
Going off Spaceman prices (which I paid for both)
The Atlas is only $20 more.
Yes, they are both boosts, but have different applications.
I'd call the Atlas more of a straight up clean boost, while the Saturn is a dirty boost.
The Atlas feels like it reacts to different input signals, meaning it can get dirty, the Saturn feels more controlled. Allowing you to control when and how much dirt is present.
I do hear the Atlas adding a subtle amount of high-end "sparkle", while with the Saturn, it's more apparent.

Can't say I favor either one, because they do something similar, but differently.

I'd call the Atlas clean, simple, straightforward.
And the Saturn complex, present, and dirty.

Overall I like both, and they'll remain in my collection.

Just arrived,

The difference is noticeable after a quick 10 minute A/B.
The V sounds hairier. More dirt on tap. Overall darker tone.
The VI has more range on the drive control, and more highs available.

I can confirm this combination of the Redstone and Saturn VI will give you all the good tubey saturation you'll ever need in all shapes and forms..

Not familiar with either of those. Seems… normal? I kinda prefer the Dunsh. My RFII is in the classifieds.
