I know for a fact that the Kallas clones don’t sound anything like the original.
I’m not that easily led. Lack of malice is what matters to me.
I hadn’t cracked mine in ages. Actually stunned I forgot (maybe better said, I never even noticed) there was a transformer in there.

I can’t tell from the listing, the one on its way to me was built by someone known as Adam, or Adam the Builder. It’s on a PCB, but I can’t make out any identification.
If it’s any consolation, in the link to TGP, the person who posted the gut shot said he checked with Zak first.
No one can tell you when your skin should or shouldn’t crawl.
I have a Gemini clone from the pcb that is floating around and the larger ones on reverb. It's close . But wayyyyyyy noisier .
I think I even traced it way back when. But the ac125 or whatever the hell they were (going from a very bad memory) where so inconsistent that each copy sounded different .

Again - seems completely different from anything he has ever made.
I ordered mine day one, still hasn’t shipped. It seems like a very different beast from anything I have seen from Spaceman.
This should be supremely obvious. Every other Spaceman namesake is launched from land, the Polaris is launched from a submarine at sea.
