The Squier Mini Precision Bass Club

This is just the start of your vinyl wrapping obsession ... just think what else you could cover with the remainder of the roll!

That's pretty funny.

And, yeah, I am the kind of guy to slip on the banana peel, down the rabbit hole, and do all kinds of less than normal things with it. :)

I really like the look of black carbon fiber. I think it will make for a very excellent looking pickguard.
Wish I could get someone else to do it for me, because I am tool and craft skill challenged. But, I'm going for it.

Whatdya think:

I ordered
Black Carbon Fiber 5ft x 1ft Car Wrap Vinyl Roll
to cover the pickguard with.

It is thin and soft, so it should be easy to cut clean without special tooling that I don't have.

Predictions? :)

I did this with a guitar I sold a while back. Piece of advice (you likely know this already), don't cut it exactly to fit the top of the pickguard, the vinyl will either peel at the edges over time, or shrink somewhat near the edges and well, will look awful. Cut it larger than the pickguard and wrap and fold the excess edges under the pickguard. For someone scissor-challenged like me, it made for an easier process.
