The Status Register - Official Status Graphite Club

^^^^ Awesome T-Bass! Something tells me a T-Bass would be a little on the large size for me, however. Love the small-er body on the B-2. Speaking of which, just for hoots 'n giggles:

Just got this beauty on reverb after a 6+month search:

Loving it so far! Have some light (.030) double ball strings coming in order to turn it into the slap monster it deserves to be. The woodwork on the bass is really well done...

Question, how do you folks hang this on your wall? i have a wall with 5 bass/guitars hanging on regular headstock holders, but uh... i've seen a few options on the web but curious what folks here use.

thx! -ts

I took my S2 out as a backup on a wedding gig yesterday (up until now, the S2 has been strictly a home-recording bass and I have stuck with my usual go-to basses for gigs). I did my regular sound check with my Lull and then plugged in the S2. My god - the sound of that bass through the PA and in my in-ears was shockingly good. The FOH guy's face immediately lit up.

Nice. I'd be considerably more jealous if it had another string as a Streamline 5 is the spiritual successor to the XL2 in many ways. I would love one myself, either a 4 or a 5, but can't afford one and I've never seen one for sale S/H locally.

Be interested to hear what you think of it especially in relation to the Bootlegger.

Since this is my first Streamline but not my first Status, I'm sure it will be in a different class altogether.
Bootlegger is a very decent bass for sure, but I don't expect it to really rate similarly to a Status.
I'm interested to try the new Bootlegger models when they eventually arrive.
