I'm really glad you've kept the hexagonal design from the "regular" slampegg, I really like that design. Instantly recognisable without screaming what it is.
Looks like a really good size pedal as well, especially considering what it's got to fit into it.

Tiny, tiny observation (as they’re the same knobs on the Venus): under many different kinds of lighting, it’s almost impossible to see the white lines on the glossy black knobs.
I am curious what that box is, I can only fit a 6V6 tube in a 1590XX from Tayda, I even tried a 1590BB2 and it did not fit because the tube is 33.3mm diameter just like your tube.
I can fit it in a 125B but yours looks a little bit bigger then that.
Is that an extra deep box ?
Also when i look at the Bee I get the jitters, at first I thought it had a LED for one eye, then I zoomed in and noticed the screw and nut in the eye.
Is it possible to make the other eye yellow/orange so it matches that screw ? I think it would look better.
It was a good aim to hit the bee right in the eye with the hole.
The bee is a side profile not 2 eyes facing us so the bolt is right in the middle of the bees body. He could paint the bolt black and it would match the bees body.

@CH Design I have a JC Emerald and really love it for bass and guitar. With the Deep engaged it sounds and feels to what I remember from playing through a JCM200 and Bass Major with as much grunt, grit or outright drive as anyone could ever need. Chris or Lemmy in a box. The tone has the right amount of control. On guitar it is just as beastly and toneful, I really like the way it can clean and sing by using the volume control or attack. Covers a broad range of guitar tones and it takes a boost or pairs with an overdrive beautifully.
There is something special about the dual tube @Sushi Box FX pedals that I truly love but cannot quite explain. JCE, More and BassDude.

I run either a Slampegg or a UA along with a finally V2 through a MB 121P + NY121 cab. Generally, I go for clean sound (with tube saturation), but when I turn it up to breakup, it sounds good to me coming through the MB.
Correct, all combinations are possible and in "wet" positions the two outputs are separated by a buffer so neither affects the other. Trying to make this possible on all D.I.'s going forward.
Noted. I'm open to suggestions, but I haven't been able to find knobs that I like better.
This is a 1590BB2. It's a tight fit and the exact diameter will vary by brand, but it fits in there. Fortunately in this case the plastic base of the tube is pressed up against the enclosure instead of the glass itself, so I'm not too worried about it being a tight fit.
It's not exactly the same tone as it's missing the grit, but I was able to keep the warmth in a very delicious way.Gaahhh!

NONE of course, the others are solid state and do a decent job but the JCE out performs them all. I still keep my Joyo British for drive and more metal sounds and the DanElectro DaddyO has sentimental value as it was much tinkered on by a dear departed repair buddy and is massive on crunch and bass sounds.
I'd be tempted to run the Bee Pre into the Bee Pre X just to see what might happen.
Following a mid-October topic in this thread, I picked up a JJ 12AY7 from Tubedepot.com and swapped it into my new-to-me Finally V2. After adjusting the trimpot, I'm very pleased with the Gain and Volume controls. I can set them both at noon as a starting point, then adjust for more harmonics as desired. It's a gain structure that I can more easily understand, and it extends the usable range of the controls.
I just missed out on a More in the classifieds this afternoon - it didn't last an hour priced at $180 - and am still considering getting one, whether new or maybe on the used market.
Since the More is based on the tube/gain section from the Deep Dish compressor, I'm wondering about using a More in conjunction with the upcoming Single Slice compressor and whether that would be redundant.
I don't know if it has been said whether Single Slice is a one-tube unit or two-tube. I definitely plan on getting a Single Slice when they come out, but don't know that I need a More in addition.

IMO, these are black aluminum knobs in two different diameters that are easy to see the markers in any lighting:

Single Slice is a one-tube unit. I ran into a snag adding the last feature, but I hope to have it resolved soon and have the pedal ready for release by Christmas.
I think you might be surprised by how many Single Slices you sell. I for one, am saturated with Sushi Preamps and dirt, (happily so), and remember committing to purchasing a Slice the moment I heard of it.

I don't doubt that the More would sound good with a two-tube Single Slice, had it been designed that way, but it does seem somewhat redundant. I will give More and Single Slice a try together to front-end when I use an amp. I intend to use the Finally mainly in cases where I decide not to use an amp and go direct-only, which will be far between indeed.
