Not to get sidetracked, but what is the use for the two AC ports on the Ciokolate? More ports and more current are all great, but I don't think I've ever run across a pedal that took anything but DC, so it seems like a waste of ports?

Also not to sidetrack, but yes. A big step in my effects journey was the time I entirely forgot my loaded pedalboard - so no choice, bass straight into amp - and after a couple of tunes one of the backup singers goes "wow, what did you do, your bass sounds great today!" :facepalm:

They do exist, I think the Digitech Whammy was at a time AC only, for example, I think it was only the 5th version that started accepting DC. Probably the main influence for it, but having two on the same board seems unlikely.

It's certainly not common, but they're out there. Usually when I see AC input it's because they're trying to get a higher voltage on the circuit and/or a bipolar supply. I know the EHX tube pedals from a few years back (black finger comp, tube zipper, etc) took a 9VAC input that was then fed into a transformer to step it up to high voltage. Obviously not the only way to do it, but it's one way to do it.

Man if they're sending it the other way around the world I'm going to be both disappointed and impressed. Not quite as good as the time a Slampegg headed to Australia ended up in Austria. Honest mistake, I guess. The pedal showed up in the right place... three months later.

I removed USPS Express shipping as an option because the last time I sent an express package (supposed to be guaranteed delivery in 1-2 days) it sat in Chicago for 8 days. USPS has been wonky lately though, I've had a couple shipments to Chicago (literally 40 miles away) take 10-12 days.

I wish I could say this behavior is new for USPS, but it isn't. Totally normal, actually, and unfortunately. One must lower their expectations to isn't lost and may arrive in the future. Fedex and UPS seem to swap efficiency like a stopped up nose, only one side works at a time.

Just ordered a Neptunium and I'm stoked to try it out!

I just noticed that the HPF is at 90Hz, which is a huge boon! The 120Hz one on the Noble is a bit too high for me, I usually run an 80Hz HPF somewhere else in the chain instead. That opens up another spot on my Nano+.

It's 90hz on the Noble too.

Yes, I'm still planning PMLE for April Fool's. Not sure when I'll release more info about it. I have the first unit built up and sitting on my desk, and parts on hand for 24 more, everything has been finalized. I guess I'm just waiting because it's fun?

I have never had a tube pedal before. Does it need to be plugged in to give the tube a burn-in time? Or just make sure I give it time to warm up before I play every time? This may be obvious to some, but I am new to this game.

It needs to warm up for a minute or so before playing, shouldn't take too long though.
