I normally wear tie dye these days, short haired hippie that I am but would love that one in a 3XL.ThanksI'll make more eventually, but right now I just have a couple for myself.

Nathan, how's NAMM going for you? Having a good time? How many pedals did you take? Give us non-NAMMers an update..
I already have some good Sushi on my pedalboard, but soon I will have More
I haven't decided how I'll use it yet. I usually gig with two basses (fretted and fretless) and an A/B switch. I might put the UA and More before the switch so they can be set up differently for the basses... or I might just put More at the end of the chain (where it should be able to drive a power amp directly).
This should satisfy my appetite for Sushi until we find out what Elementary Deluxe means.

I unfortunately was only at the show Thursday as I have family obligations today, so I left LAX at 6:30AM and got home a few hours ago. I split my time Thursday about 60/40 between NAMM and Wood Wire Volts, which is in its second year as kind of the anti-NAMM, like an indie show for small builders but happening at the same time a couple miles away. It was a super cool hang, I enjoy talking to other builders and I ended up buying a couple pedals.
I only took a couple pedals with me, UA Deluxe, Elementary Deluxe, and More v2. Nobody got to hear the pedals, they were more or less show and tell pieces, but I'm sure you all know how I am when I get excited so it was A LOT of telling.
The highlights of the trip for me were:
- Bass Gear Magazine bass industry get together
- meeting Mike Watt and hearing his life story while we drove around San Pedro
- picking up Philip Mann from the train station and chatting as we drove around Anaheim
Thanks for the post, Nathan. It really is about the people, even more than the gear. Glad you got to meet Mike. Had you met Philip previously?

We met briefly at NAMM in 2024, but it was about a 2-minute interaction and a "let's talk later" that eventually turned into the WBIM version of Finally and later Finally v3.

Driving around Pedro with Watt must have been a hoot!
It was definitely a riot. When we stopped for lunch he took me to his favorite taco truck and we sat on the sidewalk to eat. The man is effortlessly punk rock.

That is so awesome you got to hang out with Watt and Mann. I'd say just cruising around with those two was worth the trip. Also, the feeling of NAMM kind of being the same year after year is widely felt the same way by many musicians and one of the few reasons they actually go these days is to catch up with friends in the industry that they haven't seen in a while.
