Fractured Cherry was my favorite, then it went away. I also loved the Green Apple...gone. Now my favorite is the Sparkly White. Gone. But at least I got a pedal or two in each of those colors, along with the Orange for my London Underground.

Well dang!! I have only my HWSH right now, in full color. I was hoping to get a Rainbows End finish in whichever Sushi pedal I get next.

They are TRN V80's, cheap but better than the Sure 215 or the Weston UM20 I use to use.
Smaller housing and better fit than other cheap ones like KZ.

Hey Dr. Sushi, any idea when the More will be available for purchase??

I have it boxed up and ready to send out to my independent tester along with Greenhouse, but he went on vacation at the same time I did so it won't get shipped out until tomorrow. I'm hoping to have both thoroughly tested and ready for ordering in the august batch, assuming the tester doesn't find any problems with either.

It's a surprisingly versatile little pedal for something that was designed to more or less just be dirt.

So remember a while ago when I said I had a DIY version of Space Heater that I was going to make available for my fellow solder junkies? Well I was mobbed on another forum and forced to also come up with a DIY version of Black Eye. I've given up on waiting for the board manufacturer to fix the mistake in my Space Heater boards so I'm just going to leave them a nasty note and re-order it. The Black Eye boards have been verified and they look good, I just need to put together some documentation then I can have them ready to go. I originally planned it for top jacks, but unfortunately my measurements were off and the only way it will fit in the enclosure I wanted was with side jacks, but this is what the fit check looks like.

I would rate both this and the upcoming Space Heater as intermediate builds. Not something for beginners that have never soldered before, but if you've built a few pedals already and know your way around a soldering iron, you could probably put these together without much trouble.

Almost sounds like there a market for a cheap non-tube EQ pedal that has both fender + baxandall tonestacks, with 2 footswitches: total bypass, and EQ selection, in a 125b or 1590b box.

Let people have both/try both/bypass to hear the EQ difference, and let the tube come in a pedal after so the EQ pedal itself is smaller, and make it low cost

At the very least, a few of them would make for great tour boxes to ship around for people to try.

Man, I love this idea. im finding that when I build a board I end up having two preamp pedals - one with each tone stack. Would save me some room and also I'd finally have a grab and go preamp that I was really happy with.

I'll be building the Space Heater as soon as it becomes available. I've already "traced" some parts from the pics you posted a while ago but I'm holding out for the full BOM.

What do you recommend for vents? Would drilling a bunch of small holes in a rosette pattern be enough? Not gonna be as spiffy as your milled vents of course.

Looks like, with the board where it is, you could move the input and power jacks to the same side as the output, and the ftsw to where the in jack is. Vertical knobs, top jacks.
I love puzzles.

Based on that picture you could totally pull off a klawn Klone tube pedal, just saying…..

With 12AX7 the vents aren't really essential as the tubes don't get that hot, so even just a couple holes over them would be plenty.

I thought the same thing when it was all boxed up, but obviously it sounds nothing like a Klon.

The Hafler power amp I built back in the day is still going strong as it powers my main stereo. I wish the Hafler preamp was doing as well but the input selection buttons are being really finicky in their old age. Sorry for the off topic ... memories ....

Had several Dynaco pieces, some bought, several built. Tube preamps were really good, and cheap for what you got.

I tried clicking really hard on the DIY Space Heater but no cigar
However I did look at the build doc and of course my local shop doesn't have everything.
Rule #1 of pedal building is there will always be at least one part missing that you will have to source separately from planet Unobtainia.

DIY Space Heater is still waiting for revised boards, they've been ordered but it looks like they're probably 2 weeks out. I've had a couple people ask what's next, but I think this is it, this is as far as I'm going with DIY PCBs. It's my constant struggle of trying to always do neat new things without letting myself get spread too thin, so two preamps and a high-voltage daughter board is probably going to be it.

The Ibanez UB804 MOB Electric Upright Bass the Gibson is my next most newest but it's been a couple of years. Goldie is my current #2.
I had been dreaming of an EUB for decades especially since having to give up the Upright bass for multiple reasons [although selling mine did help buy our house]. This Ibby is about 90% perfect plus I have time to get as proficient as I like to be on it once again.
