The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

I'm gonna claim stupidity on this, as I don't know the technical aspects.
My basic understanding of the buffer, is to provide a signal strength similar to that of your bass going straight to the amp, as adding pedals in your signal chain will cause a "tone-suck", similar to having multiple pots on a passive bass.

TB experts, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Pretty sure @johnk_10 would be able to sum it up better.

A buffered signal just means it is passing through a circuit. @mmbongo is correct when he states that any engaged pedal is buffering the signal.
A buffered signal can provide signal strength, but not all do. That's why not all buffered signals alike.

And FYI, the JHS Buffer is not suitable for bass. From their website:

THE LITTLE BLACK BUFFER IS DESIGNED TO WORK WITH INPUT SIGNALS THAT ARE BELOW 10V INPUT GAIN. ANYTHING ABOVE 10V INPUT GAIN WILL CAUSE THE UNIT TO CLIP. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE WITH BASS GUITARS.

I just wanted to stress, once again, that UPS delivers a parcel to my doorstep within 72 hours (often less) -
While USPS tracking still has not updated from Aug 6, 9:53 am.
Waiting is certainly a pain.

Would you be willing to pay the higher shipping cost for UPS or DHL over USPS plus the additional time the @Sushi Box FX might need to process those packages? Just asking for next time.

When I bought my Ictineo pedal from a fellow TBer, I was offered something along the lines of UPS for $40 and USPS for $16, I went UPS.
The Noble was delivered by UPS, as was my Heather Brown The Blessed Mother.
All within 72 hours and completely without hassle.
Pay twenty-five bucks more for hassle free shipping that has reliable tracking and arrives a fortnight faster? That's a no brainer for me.

This is a pre-clearcoat pic so the raw and whites will be glossier and sparklier, but I wanted to get a family photo as I think this is the first time every single finish option has been ordered for one pedal in one month.
