I might try and experiment but all my @Sushi Box FX are semi-permanently installed and in use for various things right now.

You choose a few colors you'd want to offer, and let the customers vote for the color. BUT the only way to vote is to buy a 'dealers choice' pedal. You offer black, white, or red for example. Whichever color sells the most, that's the color you use. No matter what color we voted for, we will get the color that won the vote and we won't know what it is until it arrives!

Getting caught up and these two posts from a while back sum up exactly what I'm looking for in a preamp. Already using a Le Bass but something with separate inputs for the two channels would be ideal, so I could run them in parallel with my drives only hitting the dirty channel. (Running the channels in series is nice to have but I don't anticipate using that much.)

With a DW/UA combo preamp already being discussed, if that incorporated these features it'd be an instabuy for me.

I don't know, seems like more work. Especially since I already have colors picked out through november :P

I don't have any immediate plans for pink, but if I can find a pink powder that's really cool I would consider it. For September and October I had a basic color in mind that I wanted, green for September and <redacted> for October, then I browsed through powder colors until I found some that looked good.

November is the month of my birthday, so I just chose the absolute coolest finish I could find, and I'm going for that in November. Because #treatyoself

Hmmm.......I need another pedal like Seattle needs another cloud in November, but that's also the month of my birthday, and that of my wife........who am I to blow against the wind?

I'm not sure what's on your radar, but depending on how you use your Diamond Bass Comp Jr., you may want to consider a More.

I got about 30 minutes to try out my More this morning. Through headphones, it does exactly what others have described. To me, it sounds like it adds a clarity and a 3 dimensional quality like I have never heard before. It's almost hi-fi without a hint of being sterile.

I bought it to compare with my Diamond Bass Comp Jr., which I use mainly as a tone enhancement, not really as a compressor. I love the subtle "whatever it is" that the Diamond Bass Comp Jr. adds. However, when compared side by side with More, it sounds dull and lifeless. Although they don't do exactly the same thing, I prefer the tone enhancement of More.

I need some more time to run through some different basses, pedal orders, etc., but I have a strong suspension that More is going to replace my Diamond Bass Comp Jr. for tone enhancement duties and the Diamond is going to be used more as a traditional compressor.

On another note, the Diamond Bass Comp Jr. placed between a Space Heater and More eliminates the high pitched noise that you can get when running two Sushi tube pedals. It works with the compressor both on and off. An Exotic EP booster also works, but only when it's turned on, which is odd as both are advertised as true bypass.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I do loves me my Diamond....actually had sold it, missed it, and recently jumped on a local one available at a surprisingly reasonable price (considering how much they're now fetching). I used it for both comp and tonal fairy dust. It is slated to go on a board that has both a UA and a Slampegg....I'll try it out and see. More is under consideration.......

So, here's a weird little problem:
The relevant bit of the signal chain is:
Cali76 -> Southampton Ictineo -> HWUA
These are not connected to each other directly, but they are in successive loops of a Morningstar ML-5.

When the Ictineo is active and the HWUA is switched on, but not in the signal chain, I get a high pitched whine.
The high pitched whine disappears when I
1. Switch Ictineo off, either by disabling the unit or by taking it out of the signal chain with the ML-5
2. Switch the HWUA off
3. Put the HWUA into the signal chain.

When I switch off the HWUA and then switch it on again, it takes about a second for the whine to reappear. It alters pitch a bit then settles on the frequency.

The pedalboard is powered by a Cioks DC-7 plus a Cioks 4. They are not directly underneath the pedals.
The Cali and Ictineo are powered off the DC-7 and the HWUA is powered off the 4.

Any ideas on how to proceed?
