In case anyone was wondering, Finally is currently unavailable for backorder as I've intentionally run myself out of parts. The last piece I've been waiting on for my v2 prototype finally (lol) shipped and is slated to be here Wednesday. If everything goes well (I have every expectation that it will) then I will ramp up immediately for a "production cut-in" of v2.

Nathan, will there be any other changes for Finally V2 than the separate level controls?

It's good to hear about V2 getting closer. I'm going to take the SB plunge with the Single Slice and the Finally V2 when both are available.

The main ones are separate level controls and a switchable fixed-frequency HPF, no changes to the main circuit. There's another change I'm experimenting with that's up in the air (that's what the delayed last part is), more on that one later.

If the V2 HPF is switched on, will it filter both outputs? There could be a case for having it on one but not the other, but I don't think most players would need that.

The HPF will affect both outputs since the 1/4" output and XLR output come from the same place when the 1/4" takes the preamp output. Obviously when the 1/4" output is set for dry pass the HPF will not affect the 1/4" output.

I would put it at the end of the chain so everything in front of it gets the pure benefit of the tube richness. I’m using a finally for the same benefit and that’s where it sounds best to me. You’ll become addicted to Sushi Box pedals.

Nope, this is just a revision of the original Finally, Furthermore is coming down the road a ways. Still have some things to work out on that one.

I think I shared it earlier on here, can't remember the numbers offhand. I'll find it for you. It's pretty similar to how Noble does the rolloff.

Near the end of your chain. I have mine placed just prior to my preamp/di. I like driving everything on the board through the MORE for tubeysonicenrichification..

Cool, thanks for the replies guys. I run some pedals into a Genz Magellan 800 and run a few pedals in the effects loop.

I’ll still probably try it in a few spots, but this made me consider throwing it in the loop as well.

I like my More right after compression at the beginning of the chain. That way it feeds tube goodness for my other pedals to tamper with, rather than adding tube goodness to the tone tampered by my other pedals. On my pedalboard, I just thought it sounded better.

while you’re considering design decisions for pedals: i’ve noticed that input comes from the right and output is on the left, but input gain and output volume doesn’t correspond with that.
it’s different from pedal to pedal and it’s a bit confusing. input gain should be on right and output volume on the left please.

A retrofit would unfortunately be difficult as I'm moving the location of the ground lift switch and adding another potentiometer, but I'll consider it. There would definitely be some cost involved.

Also: Dreamcatcher is super appealing on paper. So if anyone wants to unload one, hit me up.

Between More and Finally......the latter is more versatile....can do kleen tube warm right through gnarly OD, has a great DI.....whereas More is a simple, subtle clean warmer with a lot of built in boost capability; it can't get dirty at all and has no DI, so choose carefully based on your wants.

My Dreamcatcher is not available FS, but unless you need a DI, I'd MUCH rather have a DC than either the Finally or More.......you could dial 1 channel to be toob kleen/warm and the other a bit furrier and toggle back/forth. Note the blue channel of the DC is effectively the same as the one in UA and Finally.
