The 'This beer rules!' thread

I'm not big on threads where people take the piss outta the beer they like the least but I do like threads where we praise the ones we cherish most! Tell me what you like and why ya like it.
I haven't had anything distasteful from Unibroue, the Quebec brewers who brought us Maudite, La Fin du Monde, Trois Pistoles, etc.
Your turn..

Picaroons. I doubt anyone outside of New Brunswick has ever had this, since they don't really have a huge distribution, but it's absolutely amazing beer. They make all of the standards (summer ale, IPA, porter, stout, etc.), but it's delicious. Really full-bodied beers with an incredible amount of taste.

I love their Best Bitter. :)

Also Garrison, a Nova Scotian beer, is amazing, also. Probably my favorite overall company for beer. I'm not one for fruity beers, but their raspberry wheat beer is absolutely delicious. I'm also very fond of both their Tall Ships amber, and their Nut Brown beer. The latter has a very 'earthy' taste to it (but in a good way).

Xingu Black Beer. It's the best, and not available most places. Still, if you get a chance, check it out - it's just yummy.

I've been on an IPA kick, so here's what I've been diggin' lately.

1. O'dell's IPA
2. Great Divide Herculese Double IPA
3. Boulevard Smokestack Double Wide IPA
4. Upstream (local brew pub) oak aged IPA

Belgian brews
1. LaMoneusse (sp? sorry, not at home) Saison
2. Tripel Karmaliet
3. Duvel (although I find it a tad overcarbonated, any suggestions?)
4. Nostradamus!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a beer fan generally, but on hot days I like crisp light refreshing summer brews. On the cheap, a Corona with lime is hard to beat. Imported, Hoegaarden is super nice and easy to drink. But my absolute favorite is Kona Brewing's Wailua. It's a wheat beer brewed with passionfruit, super yummy. The passionfruit in it is not like fruit juice or a girly fruity drink, it's just a light tropical hint on top of the crisp summer beer. Ahhhhhh....

Bells is my favorite brewery. IPA, Hopslam, Porter, Two-Hearted Ale, all very good. The best was the 8000 batch - special anniversary brew, but I think it's all gone now. WOW!!! Favorite beer ever. If you haven't tried Bells yet, go find some and try it. Do. It. NOW. You'll thank me.

Another Yuengling fan here.

However, I have recently discovered a beer that used to be extremely popular
back even before I drank beer (and that's pretty long ago).
Ballantine.

The three ring design was "borrowed" by Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham
for his representative symbol on Led Zeppelin IV.
