Hey guys, little question: how does the quatravalve keep up volume-wise? Loud enough for heavy gigs?

Well, it's 200w all-tube. I find that this may be more than enough for some gigs, but not enough for others. For the most part, though, I would think that it should be more than enough if your cabs are relatively efficient and your bandmates aren't crushingly loud. FWIW, I feel like my Quatra Valve is a good bit louder than my 200w Aguilar DB 359.

Tom.

Ekill, if your cab has the vinyl covering then it was manufactured long before 2000. It would be a pre-Gibson era cab and yes 200 watts is correct for this cab.

Bob04, I wish I could give you a little insight as to what would be a fair price but I have no clue what the UK market is like for Trace equipment. Hopefully on of our UK TB members comes along and help. One thing you can do is track Trace stuff for sale on Ebay. It will atleast give you some idea to prices.

Quick question for all you trace lovers, my not so local sound control has a 1 of perfect trace BFC (4x10+1x15, 1000w) cab with just one thing wrong, the 15 speaker needs replacing. They're asking £400 obo, list price in the UK was £1000. I was thinking of offering £300, however I see on the old Trace site it weighs 87kg. Since I live up a staircase I have a feeling it's not meant to be. Anyway, just tell me about the cab and what you rekon's a fair price for it just incase I can get a lift installed in my house.
