I believe on ebay from this place here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/TRACE-ELLIOT-T-SHIRT-XL-BASS-AMP-COMPANY_W0QQitemZ7629333971QQihZ017QQcategoryZ108857QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

They also have other sizes too if go to their store and search trace elliot. Sizes Small to XXL should appear.
I wouldn't deal with that guy. I bought one of those cool Trace shirts a few weeks ago. He sent me the wrong shirt (kinda funny - he sent me an Elliot Smith concert T shirt  ) and never made amends. I sent him countless messages over several weeks to try to figure out what we would do to remedy the situation, but he never responded. $15 down the drain. :hmm:

EDIT: anybody wanna buy it? ;)

Guys, a possible disaster! I'm posting a new thread about this as well, but I thought as there's a load of trace heads already subscribed i'd post it here too.

I think I might have blown an output transformer thing. I took my ah600smx head to a rehearsal place. They had 2 old peavey pa cabs, a 15" speaker, and a smaller one, maybe an 8", definitely ported, next to the 8" speaker. the guy mentioned something about black widows, is that the peavey 15"? He told me they were 8 ohms each, but they didn't have any backplate or anything with the ohms on it.

So, I plugged both of them in, one into the left output, one into right. I normally use the left one with my 1248. It sounded pretty sweet for the whole practice, I had the volume on about 4 and nothing weird happened. I drive home, over a couple of speed bumps in the process, set it up but didn't play until a bit ago. There is definitely a signal through the preamp, as the lights come on when I play.

When I plugged the 1248 into the right speaker output it was fine, but there was no signal at all from the left output. I've checked the fuse in the left output and it seems fine. So could it be a dodgy solder joint or something? Or does that sound like something that would happen if I ran two 4 ohm cabinets?

Cheers guys!

Peavey are just the distributers, no?

I believe this is the case too,

Trace now owns themselves over in England, and uses Peavey as their North American distributor.

OK, to put this to rest...

I contacted the current Trace Elliot guys via e-mail and this is what I was told.

Hi Kelly

Trace Elliot was purchaced by Peavey Electronivs UK Limited in April 2005. This is being run and produced in England and not by Peavey Corp USA.

Peavey Corp USA will be the distrubutor for North American / Canada.

I have attached a word doc explaining some of the history which may help,
