Hi

Nothing like that. I usually go to standby then wait a few minutes before turning it off

Actually. mine completely crapped out on me the other night. Stayed lit up but no output at all and wouldnt go to standby. Oh well Its in for repair

Yes! Every time I turn the amp off. Hopefully someone who knows amps better than I do will chime in here.

YES!! Mine too. Freaks me the heck out!

I thought it was the fan. Seems like the sound coincides with the fan slowing and stopping. Mine only does it when I turn off the standby, wait a few seconds, and then flip the power. It DOESN'T do it however, when I wait for a longer period of time and then turn the power off.

But obviously - the fan thing is just a wild guess. An email to Roger would RULE. Thanks AC. Keep us posted!

Ya know, now that i think about it, it only does it when i quickly turn off the "power" switch very soon after i put it in to "standby" mode. Maybe i should just wait about ten seconds after the green light totally goes out before shutting her down (we're probably supposed to be doing this anyways). Thanks everyone for your shared experiences :)

Yea. Hopefully its minor. Tube or something. Have no idea. Im no tech so its in for repair at a local shop where many of my buds work. Good guys. Hopefully its fixed tomorrow. I have 4 shows in a room and no amp. Bought a Tfunk and thats in transit. DAMN!!

I sold one of my Sadowsky basses when I saw one for sale, but it was gone before I could buy it...It was a great bass and I regretted, but soon enough my NYC Ultra Vintage PJ showed up for sale and I had the funds in hand. The pain didn't last long :p, but I still know where that SA200 is and my rifle is locked and ready. One shot, one Sad :D

This is a shot of the inside of my SA200 taken by my friend John Wilson. I was playing at my drummer's wedding reception in a super cool rustic barn with all of these hanging lights illuminating the space.

This shot was taken top-down onto the plexi glass top I had made for my SA200. The EL34s are out of focus off to the right. What you're seeing in focus is one of the hanging lights in the barn reflected off the plexi top.

Just thought it was worth a gander!

hey guys,
i'm gonna post this in the classifieds, but i figured it pertained more to you guys than random tube buyers:

I have two (2) TAD 6N1P's i ordered for my SA200 a while back. I let my SA200 go recently, so i don't have a use for these.

They are the stock preamp tube in slot three (the first two are TAD 12AX7's).

They cost about $25 each to get them here to me. I'll let them go for $18 shipped paypal.

I'd prefer to let them go together, cause shipping would be less of a hassle. If someone wants to stock up, hit me up and we can work a deal on both :)
