All the ones I've seen up close have 6 bolts... believe I read somewhere that it's currently standard. However, I don't know if this has always been a standard feature.

All the ones I've seen up close have 6 bolts... believe I read somewhere that it's currently standard. However, I don't know if this has always been a standard feature.
I think it must be new. I had a Valenti a few years ago and it was a new build, didn't have the 6 bolts.

My new one has 6 as well. I need to look at T21-P5 later and see if it has 6 as well.

At this time, any new orders will have a 4 bolt neck plate with a neck plate.
Any 6 bolt basses are orders that I was completing with neck and bodies from a different supplier.

Took the new bass to practice today. Sounded great! The rest of my band mates really liked it as well. Very happy!!

By the way, Nino, is there any particular reason that you don't put the serial number on frontside? I was thinking the serial number makes Valenti so unique and easy to understand the spec.

Yes, also has active/passive switch and single/dual selector (push/pull knobs) for each neck and bridge PU. Very versatile, fatty to clean. But all sounds are very usable! I was a fender jazz user and I can’t say that I can make 100% fender tone by that valenti. But I can mimic around 85% or maybe more. But the tone is still great! Overall, this is the best bass that Ive ever had!

I have the Nordie DC5 pickups in a custom build also and I love them. Probably the best pickups I've ever used and I have Coil Taps on mine. Really adds alot of flavor to the bass. Very nice bass brother.
Looks like Valenti #236 is for sale for a nice price, $1299, at Guitar Center in New Orleans for anyone looking.

I'm extremely happy to let you all know I was able to get #224 from a fellow TBer (only about 20 minutes away) earlier today.
I had to sell my beloved Hamer 2Tek Cruise bass which had been my main bass until I got #129. I decided if I'm gonna cut down on how many basses I have, than my backup bass is gonna have to be as good as #129. After trying several brands and missing out on a couple other Valenti's that came up I finally found an equal. This is the one that doesn't have a preamp installed, sounds fine without it, but any recommendations if I decide to get one installed?

I have a Sadowsky pre in my #151.
Sounds great and totally solid although I sometimes wish I had midrange as well.

It currently has Aguilar 60's pickups, so I guess whatever pairs well with those.
Technically it is replacing a bass that was passive and also had a rosewood board. I think once the strings lose that "new zingy / clanky sound" I'll have a better idea of what I want.
