I didn't think that the questions were worthy of an email and I thought I would put it here because other TBers might be able to help.

Great basses... two questions though:

1. Do you cut your own pickguards?
2. Can you get your basses in pink?

He does cut his own pickguards.

There is no pink color option listed on his site, but if you email him he might have another idea.

1-Yes. Eventually, I would like to have pickguards made for me because it makes a MESS in my shop.

2-I will gladly make a Pink bass but my standard 5 Day Approval period will not apply. AKA: Final Sale.

Even the classic shell pink? That should be easy enough to move. I hope he didn't mean neon or anything

Any Pastel colors, Shell Pink, Coral Salmon Pink, Sonic Blue, Surf Green, etc are sold as final Sale. I've seen basses in this color sit for a long time and I'm a one man operation with very limited capital and wouldn't be able to afford holding on to a bass for a long time.

Thats fair enough, I really don't see pink being a popular colour.

Well this settles it. I thought I had my GAS under control and then I went ahead and stumbled into this thread... and I now know where my next 2 instruments will be coming from.

Just received my Valenti #17 from a fellow TBer. What a beautifull bass.

It was originally made for Dan Wilson I think, but was aquired by echo008 on a trade. He sold this baby to me.
