For a long time now, the walkers have been little more than an annoyance, deadly sure, but relatively easy to deal with. The real struggle is having/creating a life and dealing with other humans.

I have this feeling that it's going to be something much more sinister. Where they're going to hunt Rick's group for sport or something like that. But I have nothing to back that up.

One of the most gruesome deaths yet, didn't expect it would be him. Things are moving again now, lol.
I thought they were setting up for Darryl to be caught being soft. That may still happen, but I was sure he would be next.

Yeah, back to back gruesome deaths... Really rough beats. I'm actually really surprised at the direction the episode took regarding the Alexandrians... I hate to be that dude when he comes to. 
Gabriel has been a menace since they found him surrounded by zombies and screaming like a little bitch. Now look what he has done.
And Carol has just about lost the plot. Sorry to see it happen, because I liked her character. But she is becoming a liability.
Abraham has found a new mission, which he needed badly.
Sorry about Noah. He didn't last long. I'm not sure the point of that business about him wanting to become a builder if they were just going to kill him off in the same episode. Waste of time there. Usually they introduce new characters as they knock of old ones. I wonder which of the residents of Alexandria will join the group if the SHTF as seems to be coming. And we still haven't met the Wolves.
Count on that ass who caused Noah's death lying to the mayor about the circumstances of her son's demise. That together with what Gabriel has told her could be the last straw for the group's stay at Alexandria. Never mind if Carol convinces Rick to kill the doctor.

I don't know. I think the mayor is much smarter than to believe that guy, despite the mountain of grief that might affect her reasoning. Remember, her thing is all about studying people. She knows her son wasn't all that. I think she'll believe Glen. I don't think for a minute she's taking Gabriel's warning/betrayal at face value either. I'm sure she can smell the cray cray, yeah?

Did you notice that the Alexandrians must have had a supply of white preacher collars? Gabriel burned his a few episodes ago and got a new one.
I don't know guys. I think Gabriel might be right. Maybe in this instance our good guys actually are the bad guys. Maybe they've be "out there" too long and can't fit into society anymore.
I think he's right. But the underlying message is that everyone is a "bad guy" when it comes down to it. If they want to survive.
Some of them. Carol, certainly. Rick, probably. Sasha and Michonne, maybe. On the other hand, I can see Glenn, Maggie, Abraham, Tara (if she lives), Rosita, Eugene, and strangely, even Daryl settling into this community.
That's assuming the community is on the level, and there isn't something nefarious going on in the background.
I think that tension is what is going to screw things up. The members of the group who can no longer fit into any society--Carol, then Rick--are going to cause a problem that forces the others to choose between the group and the Alexandrians.
Carol is borderline psychotic. Putting Rick up to killing the doctor...really? What for? I know she experienced domestic violence in her own past. But the lady hairstylist doesn't come across as being a hapless victim and anyway, have things reached a point where the solution to any problem is to murder somebody?
BTW, I couldn't quite make out what the mayor's son said to Glenn just before he died?

Basically yeah, and it confirms what Abraham discovered out on the job site: the Alexandrites have a cold mental calculus for how and when they abandon people to die; they are not what we might think of as "heroic" and aren't generally willing to risk the many to save the few.
Yes, that they bailed on them and left them, not that they didn't "stick to the plan" like he claimed before.
This group is way me-first to have survived this long without an unsustainable attrition rate.
Gabriel has got to go, and once Maggie shares what she heard his days with the group are over. I was hoping she'd step out from the stairs after he finished speaking; I'd be surprised if he could keep up the lie in her face. By letting him plant the seed and go uncontested it will allow him to get the allies he needs to get rid of them. Not sure if he's thought this through tho; Rick's group is dangerous and capable, the folk in the community by comparison are stupid and soft. That said they did manage to keep an eye on them undetected, so unless another group was helping the community folk out there could be some nasty surprises.
In the preview for next week I saw what looked like 4 freshly dug graves. Did they go back for Noah and Aiden (the senator's son)? Is Tara not going to make it? Who would be the 4th, Aiden's friend? The (possibly) wife beating Doctor that Tara needs? Or did I miscount?
Aiden admitted to screwing up and people dying before his own death. I didn't like him before, but I'm a sucker for honest remorse. His friend was scared to death; it doesn't excuse him getting someone killed, but it certainly explains it. If he was scared before I can't wait to see what his reaction is when they tell Rick.
Carol is getting sloppy. With a little kindness she could have made the kid an ally. She believes he knows she is dangerous, yet he still showed up looking for cookies. Either he doesn't believe her, or he can't believe her. Given that I don't see that being a jerk to him will pay off in any way. As for the neighbor, she should have simply told Rick hat she believed was going on, not told Rick to hill him. Rick probably would have anyways, but I don't think he appreciates people telling him what he has to do. Just a hunch.
Abraham is a badass. He quickly determines what needs to be done and executes a plan of action; exactly what a salvage or construction crew in a dangerous situation need. How this group is still around with the policy of leaving people to die is beyond me unless it's like I initially indicated that they used to have many more people and they just let them die off rather than risk losing more. Whoever is left develops a me first attitude and if you get into trouble then too damned bad.
