Daryl has to get his motorcycle built before Rick and the crew kill all the Alexandrians and the zombies eat what's left.
Did anyone notice the "Morgan Street" sign?

It was the visceral, pragmatic, ultra realist, vibe that made me like the show in the first place, but it is more like just a zombie star trek now. Since the pointless way they offed Beth, especially after all that fuss, and then Tyrese because all the sudden no one knows what a tourniquet is, my opinion of the writing has seriously dropped. That was some weak shizz no matter how you slice it. Tyrese is taken down by a toddler zombie and lack of basic first aid? Good thing he stopped putting pressure on it to watch the blood bubble out every 10 seconds the whole episode. Insert fart noise here. Last night's pointless horse side story is further proof they are not driving the arc of the story like they used to. Old question: Why didn't they just go back and clean up the prison again?

My prediction: Some kind of raider gang storms in and whacks most of the town and a few main cast members. Then the survivors will scatter into the multi-story mess we had last season, until they come upon the next planet ERRRRRRR I mean, next creepy, walled, community full of sketchers.
@bigfatbass,.. i hear ya, Cuz! i stopped watching when Tyrese fell prey to the kid zombie. who lets their guard down in Zombie World?!!
Here's my prediction. There's already something between the Alexandria and the Wolves and they're using Rick's group as a pawn. Either to protect them or just for sport. But I'm not buying the way everyone is kissing up the the group. After all, that woman is a politician. You know she's two-faced.

Definitely. Somehow ties into the videotaping. When we know who that tape is for, we will know the full story of Alexandria.
As soon as the leader of Alexandria said that she was a politician I got a bad feeling. My guess is that she studies the videotapes to figure out Rick's and his group member's pressure points and will use varying approaches to manipulating them into position for whatever she has planned. I also think that she'll polarize in an attack and either crumble to pieces trying to be the campaigning politician or become another sadistic Governor, though frankly I don't see anyone from the Alexandria group surviving a swarm zombie attack or raider assault on their compound (what kind of idiocy designed their wall defense with the structural supports OUTSIDE?!?! Assuming of course that the walls aren't meant to keep Rick and his group IN.).
My money says that this episode was meant to show the group getting tired of the "road life" and we'll see them settle down somewhat soon and either take Alexandria or build their own. Oh, and I also noticed "Morgan" on the street sign and figure he may be involved with the wolves somehow. The horse scene to me was metaphorical in suggesting that Rick and his group can't wander wild and free for much longer as there's simply too many threats when traveling on the road to sustain a long-term nomadic lifestyle.

I have enjoyed this season and even liked this episode. But more because you have sense that the crap is about to hit the fan.
I look forward to the next few episodes.
And I too think that the Wolves and Alexandria are already in cahoots.
There is no way these people would have lasted this long without some sort of violent help.

That theory makes the most sense to me too. I think Alexandria is under the protection of the Wolves. The mayor's lack of interest in manning the security tower said it all. I'm guessing the videotapes are for the Wolves. For what purpose? Recruiting? Could some members of the group be invited to join? That could be interesting, depending on who the Wolves are and what is their agenda. I could see somebody like Abraham joining them. I can't see Rick joining any organization where he is not in charge. Could set the state for a confrontation later between members of the group later.
I'm guessing Carol's days at Alexandria are numbered. That kid is going to rat her out. It's going to get back to the mayor. She totally took the wrong approach by threatening him. The kid liked and admired her; the smart move would have been to play on that. Instead she has alienated him. He'll keep quiet out of fear for a while, but not for long. When the mayor finds out what Carol did and especially what she said to the kid, she may throw her out. It wouldn't surprise me if the mayor has seen through Carol's soccer mom act already.
If Carol is exiled, it could lead to a split in the group. Some members like Maggie and Mishonnne have taken to the place. They may not be ready to walk away because Carol has worn out her welcome.
I'd look for these plot lines to come to a head in the season finale.

The video could just be simply for ID-ing who the raiders need to be more wary of/kill first when they arrive, if they are already in cahoots with the "residents".
As much as I enjoyed Scare-ole's bedtime story for the nosy brat, I too questioned the scare angle. Eventually the kid is going to crack under some other pressure and out her little personal gun bag.
If they kill Carol as the result of this bit, the twittersphere will just scream "NOOOOO!!!!" and move on to the next episode/season. If they kill Rick or Daryll millions of 20 something girls will stop watching.

The walkers did overrun these places, but they weren't overrun because of the walkers. People made the holes that the walkers used.
