The Walking Dead: Season Five

Shock is pretty amazing. My girlfriend in college was in a car wreck with a previous boyfriend. He lost his hand in the accident and he didn't know until they pointed it out to him.

Agreed. I crashed my bike pretty hard a few years back and wound up with the sprocket slicing down the back of my calf. I didn't notice it until someone pointed out that blood was pooling in my shoe....

The whole Bob thing was crazy. I thought he was gonna off himself in the woods when he left the church. Totally thought he got bit back at the food bank and was hiding it until he had a good chance to kill himself before turning.

In the next episode, I think the gang will either get him back and he'll continue on with one leg like Hershall. Or the terminus monsters will kill him. Either way, there's gonna be some intense fighting once Rick and the gang are confronted by those mongrels.

That pastor creeps me out....

In the preview for next week's episode I thought I heard someone say 'we're down three people', but I'm not sure who said it. That could mean the termites continue to abduct people before the inevitable final showdown with Mr. Starbuck's manager douche and his carnival of cannibals.

As for the pastor and the church, something IS wrong there, but I don't know what.

The "We're down three people" most likely refers to Bob (obviously) and Daryl and Carol. They went chasing that car and, I'm guessing, haven't made it back yet. That adds up to three, but, I could be wrong.

The pastor, just wild speculation here, but judging by the marks on the shutters and the "you'll burn for this" message. I'm guessing he locked himself in the church and left everyone else to fend for themselves and now feels guilty about it (since it's not really the christian thing to do..)

I think you're right, good call.

I suspected Tyrese left that guy alive... I suspect he'll have a chance to rectify that mistake.

Bingo.

Bingo.

As for the car chase, couldn't have two better soldiers than Carol and Darrel to get blondie back.

Yeah, I thought he had been bit and was hiding it too. He has a lot of problems and is pretty messed up in the head, all the optimism hanging around the group in recent days has to be messing with him; which is why I think he took off to be by himself for a few minutes.

Gabriel and the church is weird, there is nothing there to keep the zombies out and the church is in the middle of no where; really weird. I have never been to Georgia, but there aren't churches/buildings like that around here.

I'm from Georgia. There are churches EVERYWHERE. There are tons of random churches out in the middle of the woods or wherever. It's accurate.

Not that that doesn't make it creepy, though.

I'm kind of getting the feeling that Carol is going to leave the group again. Maybe she doesn't like all the emotional baggage and wants to be on her own. I think she was going to bolt in the car but then Daryl tracked her down.
Yep, she ain't feeling the love for Rick yet. She sees he's still solidly in the leadership and she knows shes not gonna change so probably just doesn't want that drama to begin again.

Yep, I live in Savannah GA, and there's a church in my neighborhood down a wooded trail with nothing else around it. I'll try and get a pic tomorrow and post it. It's creepy looking as is, much less in a zombie apocalypse,,
