Sierrra Nevada Celebration 2010 Fresh Hop Ale...
Sierra Nevada Brewing Co's winter seasonal ale is always tasty, but this year's offering leans to the IPA side of the spectrum instead of the common malty-spicy flavors that many brewers choose for the holiday season. As a fan of big, hoppy IPAs, I find this beer highly enjoyable. Sierra Nevada is no stanger to using liberal amounts of hops, and this delicious amber-colored nectar is no exception.
I expect the 12-pack in my fridge will not last until Sunday, at which time I will probably re-load with the same stuff.

Very interesting.
Boulevard's Nutcracker Ale is historically like Celebration, although it seems different this year, but more like a dry hopped IPA of sorts.

This. I know the whole, researched for 2 years or whatever sounds pretentious as hell, but man it was worth it. It's easily the best Belgian White I've ever had, and is up there with probably my top 5 beers.

Just got back from setting up at the club where I'm playing this weekend and found they keep Optimator on hand. The best part is that we get one complimentary drink per set, per member. For once I won't mind if they ask us to play an extra set haha. If the gig sux, at least the beer won't!

Interesting. Not a lot up front, but after a second in your mouth there's some spruce (I think) becoming apparent, then a whole heap of flavours emerge as you swallow. There's a bunch of stuff in here, and I'm not sure what yet.
Maybe I should open another bottle, purely for research purposes.

That stuff tastes like a Christmas tree - in a very good way. It's not something I want to drink frequently, but a couple or six this time of year is always nice.
Since I'm the only beer drinker in my house, a 12-pack tends to last me a few days.

I cannot provide my own opinion of this beer based on my own experience with it, so it may indeed be the best beer in the world. However...
I have tasted many, many, many beers that are considered excellent (some have even been called "best") and what I found is that - like anything based on a subjective judgement - opinions will vary. The types of flavors that I enjoy may be very different from what you enjoy. In fact, my preferences change frequently. Some days, the roasted maltiness of a stout is perfect (to me). Other days, the light fruitness of a wheat is perfect (to me). Almost always, I will favor the hoppy bitterness of a well-built IPA, but there are occasional times when it doesn't quite do it (for me).
Also, with a claim like "best", I'd be much more interested in hearing more about it - style? ABV? flavors? At least post a pic. In a thread populated by folks who take their beer drinking at least semi-seriously, you need to come with more than "it's the best".
