I've got another hankering for some more Double Bastard Ale but the store I found it at is out and I have no idea where to find more in Columbus. I found Arrogant Bastard Ale but not Double Bastard. Everything's closed anyway until tomorrow anyway.

I just stumbled onto this thread (don't hang here much anymore). I just read this whole thread (no, really, I did) and found it odd that no one has mentioned "La Fin Du Monde". I recently enjoyed this one, best beer I've had in a while. I'm hankering for another.....

James...I dang near bought a bottle of that Elysian Dragontooth Stout tonight at TOP Foods. Went with this one instead.

Had some GLBC Xmas Ale yesterday. Tastes different this year much less "spice"y and overall lighter tasting. It feels as if they maybe "dumbed it down" for the masses.

I just enjoyed another La Fin Du Monde. I found one locally here in Columbus (GA) today and had to have it. Thought I might save it for a special occasion, but decided that any day wherein you have a La Fin Du Monde is a special occasion.
Next I plan to try the Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout.

Had a couple of the Samuel Adams Chocolate Bocks that came in the Winter Pack. Not a fan at all and probably won't get another mix pack since 3 come in it.

I think the Old Fez Ale is my fave in that pack. The Winter Ale is next, but a bit too much spice for more than 3 of those.

I thought the winter ale was the only drinkable varietal in the SA winter pack I drank last year. Not a fan of Sam's in general.
