The White Stripes Announce Their Break-Up

Great! another Bassist-less band :spit: :scowl:

Well, to be fair, they do have some bass on their recordings. I personally like The Black Keys a lot more anyways. I won't hate a band because they have no bassist though, if they can make it work. The White Stripes...well, Jack White anyway, is a respectable musician in my eyes, but he's better off without Meg anyways.

I've heard they(BK's) are touring with a bassist now, but there is not a single studio musician, or anyone for that mater, credited with playing bass on any of their albums.

Perhaps he/she is just extremely modest :D

And I usually think bassist-less music sounds like some sort of project but not a finished product. Just my .02 and opinion. you are entitled toy yours and I'm entitled to mine. ;)
