I actually stopped at a Sinclair truck stop a few years ago (at least, they still had the Sinclair sign up). I think it may have been in PA or thereabouts. I remember because had to buy a replacement airline for my trailer there. It's not good when that happens.

I'd forgotten about Humble Oil stations. We used to have Gulf Oil stations too. Our Standard Oil stations were branded Sohio in Ohio, but I remember seeing them branded Boron stations in other states. There were Sinclair Oil stations, Arco stations, Marathon Oil stations and Texaco stations. I don't see any of them any more.

I just wrote ad copy for a couple 30 second TV spots for some festivals. The 60 second ads are very rare anymore.
