Something I haven't seen in years: A gift certificate.
Plenty of gift cards, but I don't remember the last time I saw a gift certificate, even though they're still out there.

Found this gem while cleaning my brother-in-law's house. Cassette, AM, FM stereo, and a real small TV. Needs 9 D cell batteries. There were places to attach speakers on the sides, but they were not to be found.

No, bagpipes are always the worst prize. Easiest way to get yourself justifiably killed.I can't say I saw that episode. So, was an a set of bagpipes the good prize?
I had one similar to this as a kid. The horse was wooden rather than plastic, but the setup was the same. Used to get skin caught in the springs if not careful.
Gotta shop local. Mom-and-pop shops still use them. One of my local coffee shops keeps track of their gift certificates in a three-ring binder. Like, on actual paper. And if you don’t use the whole amount, they do the math right on the back of the certificate.
And the owner is a millennial!
I didn't have one of these. I had a rocking horse a carpenter friend of my dad's made for me. It is still in good condition after having been used by me and three more generations of kids. I don't have any pics of it at the moment, maybe later.
I don’t have any pix of mine, but I have a short snippet from my dad’s 8mm home movies of my sister and I riding it.
My wife has a picture of her daughter riding one a la Lady Godiva. The kid was about two years old at the time.
