Would you believe that Wacky Packages are still made. That is amazing. I have my almost complete set of original Wacky Packages from 1967 including some of the ones on your post.

I just looked online. Some of the prices on individual cards from the 1st and 2nd sets from the 60s command thousands of dollars. I should start selling mine.

Good lord, all activity in the neighborhood stopped when we were kids and Ultraman came on.




30 kids playing in the park one minute, the next, no kids.

I hope they never...EVER!...remake Ultraman in any media form.

You simply cannot match that low-budget charm! CGI Ultraman? No thank you! Give me man-in-a-rubber-suit monsters, cheesy miniature sets, low-tech visual effects, and mediocre acting any day!

Still popular in Japan. In fact there is a new movie coming out.
