Things You Don't See Anymore Part 3

That's weird - when does that date from?

When I was a kid (in the 80's), my Mum bought me a 50's retro ray gun - it was chromed steel, with two translucent red plastic blisters on the sides, and the barrel was a separate articulated piece, so that when you pulled the trigger, the barrel would recoil, and the sparks from the caps would illuminate the plastic blisters - it was identical to that Batman gun (other than being a cap gun, rather than a water pistol, being silver metal, rather than blue plastic, and not having anything to do with Batman).

That Batman gun is from sometime in the mid 1960s.

Both the Hostess Chocodiles and Crispy M&M's are being made again. I bought some "New" Hostess Chocodiles at a Big Lots Store a few months ago; but, they changed the name to Chocodile Twinkies. I just saw Crispy M&M's for sale at an Ollie's Store here last week.

I guess both companies realized that people like these things and will buy them again.

Thanks for clarifying. Although I question my sanity from time to time but my memory told me I'd had Chocodiles a few times since 1999. And the Crispy M&Ms were in my cart a few weeks ago.

Still, seeing the new Chocodiles in a NINE-pack? Everybody knows you never have odd numbers of things! :D
