And the National Anthem being played before the station went off the air at midnight. Yeah, I'm that old. Cheech and Chong referenced the TV test pattern in their "Dave's Not Here" sketch - "I'm watching a boring movie about an Indian".
They updated the game and it’s now called “Zoom call from home…in your pajamas” version.
Lol! I heard of that updated game. Especially, during COVID. Some folks misunderstood the pajamas version as “optional”!
I hear you! I was working a 2nd shift factory job and got home just as the TV was signing off. I was 18 and had so much time I taught myself to play bass and joined a band. This was probably considered to be the height of entertainment convenience at the time!
I have one of those but a different brand. I thought it was cool with a portable TV/radio. Not much TV recepetion with an antenna and only a couple stations.
