I did some recording with my (gifted drummer) brother on his PortaStudio years ago.

The TascamPorta Studio was as influential to Indie music as ProTools or DAW’s are today. I have the digital Tascam version now (along with a full blown DAW) and it’s a great little scratch pad. My son has a Tascam 388 reel to reel version and it still sounds and works great.
