Boy, the personal injury attorneys would have a field day with that thing today.

I had those way back in the day. Of course they were useless without these...

These are what we used to shoot our army men....

Several of us neighborhood kids would get together on a rainy day and take hours to set up over a hundred army men in strategic places in the bedroom then we'd pull out our tracer disc shooters and try to pick em off. It was pure carnage fun!
We used to make "firecrackers" with these rolls.HAHA! Me and brothers used to try to knock each others eyes out with those guns. I punished a lot of times because of that thing. Thanks for the memories!

That's exactly what we did with them! I had the cowboy gun they were meant for, but an entire roll hit with a hammer was so much more fun.We used to make "firecrackers" with these rolls.

Yep, been down the homemade M80 route and blew up plenty of stuff (trash cans, mail boxes, windows... You name it) back when I was naive but far from innocent. Not to show off, but I'll one up ya on that. We used to take sample contact lens solution containers (my uncle was an optometrist) that looked kinda like this:

Then get a bunch of packs of these:

Open them up, collect the gun powder, pour all the gunpowder in the containers leaving a fuse sticking out (actually, like 4 fuses rolled together cuz we were chicken), then stuff the top of the bottle real tight with a little bit of this:

We'd then put a little hole in the cap, thread the fuse through (sometimes we put a hole in the side as opposed to the top), put the cap back on.... light fuse, AND GET AWAY!!!!!
And yes, of course sometimes we put one of these on top before lighting the fuse:

And the occasional one of these when we (or GI Joe) got lucky:

Good clean fun.
Blowing crap up. It's what kids are supposed to do. Now they either make believe, with video games, or blow real people up. What ever happened to this wonderful in-between?
