As for a Bass Whammy, check around eBay and the online classified sites. I think there's quite a few people who will tell you the newer Whammy 4 works just as well or better than the Bass Whammy.

Maybe almost as good, but the bass whammy still kicks IV's butt in low note tracking and having better modes of pitch shifts.
