I sold it a few years ago. I didn't use it much and figured someone else would use it more. I wish I had kept it but I have a lot of others to keep me occupied. Was a nice bass tho.
now remember that bass…breathtaking….you posted awhile back…prolly asked you this (apologies ) before….did you get it like that? what’s the pup?….. would love to own that….

I can provide a list for the poor decisions part. No shortage in the states. There must be a masters program here somewhere given that some are certified experts.
I was the original owner and had the pickguard made for it. Was going for a "modern vintage" look, if that makes sense. The pickup is a humbucker sized Gibson TB Plus from an LP bass, under a chrome cover. Was nice and aggressive sounding.
No idea, never weighed it in all these years. But will do so before i pull it to pieces to fix it up. I'm giving my burnt bird to a friend of mine (i havent played it as much as my ungothed epi bird), & it's cool, but better use with someone else. Am clearing out my heard a bit - dont feel the need to want everything, so keeping the key ones which are serving daily.

When you first posted you were getting that, I knew were gonna fall head over(high)heels for it.
I am appalled Gibson ever made one without a belly cut.
ok, just played through a yacht rock set I'm learning for a new project. All TB all the time for about an hour or so, standing in my basement, singing backing vocals and playing bass. The bass (fixed, now, thanks for the nut tips) performed admirably, but I GOTTA get a wider strap. Even with the strap pin at the heel of the neck, it dives like a pelican. Even if I put the strap over the rear fin, still dives. I put a wider strap (3") on a birthday list but that means I can't buy it just yet.
Not only the neck dive, but also hello shoulder pain! Never had that before, but right where the strap sits on my shoulder is a little sore now. Never had that with my other basses.
Maybe it's like a new pair of shoes; I gotta break the bass in (and my body to play it)!

I can recommend a great urologist.
The wide strap will help a lot with that
But also takes a bit of getting used to, itself.....
When you are standing what angle to you have the neck?
I find the most comfortable spot is it have the neck a little more towards vertical than most have their FSO’s (as an example)
