totally get it..I was just happy I got it.
I was quite prepared to pay more than I did for it. Shoulda bought the Pelham(?)blue NR next to it too. Had the $$$, but didn't really like the blue(sorry, Marshall). For those who don't recall, I bought the 67 in 73 in NYC for...$250 incl. the OHSC.totally get it..
You know I'm going to vote for the red - but isn't something like Torino or Fiesta red more Fender-y than CAR?
360 as a preamp (naturally) and 2000S as a power amp?
Can't disagree there. I've always thought the NRs have such cool, almost mysterious look about them. Not a good adjective, but something close. Owning one never seemed to be a possibility.……dang..that looks like it even tastes good…doesn’t get sexier than NRs…
It has its own recliner after a hard day? It needs a drink and fine cigar. Fortunately no need for slippers.TT!

Came up to the mountain house last evening and stayed up way past my bedtime working on the ‘13 NR. When I got it, I installed the Babicz with the shim underneath because that’s how the ‘15 came from the factory. Mistake. And I’ve been meaning to remove the shim ever since. The bridge was mounted too high to
get low action without exposing the ends of the height adjustment screws. I Finally got around to removing the shim.
And you could have sold the PB to Marshall for a fortune.I was quite prepared to pay more than I did for it. Shoulda bought the Pelham(?)blue NR next to it too. My ability to see ~45+/- years into the future was sorely lacking at the time. And you could have sold the PB to Marshall for a fortune.

You too, huh? Glad it's not just me then...My ability to see ~45+/- years into the future was sorely lacking at the time.![]()
thems nice…
I have decided my next two big ticket items are a 620 Rickenbacker and a NR thunderbird treble geetar…
I am going to let the G2 firebird bass fly away…

You’re probably right, Fiesta red would be a more traditional Fender color, but they did have CAR so it still counts. Besides, I’ve never been a fan of the Fiesta red hue, I much prefer the deeper darker CAR.You know I'm going to vote for the red - but isn't something like Torino or Fiesta red more Fender-y than CAR?
If money were no object(it is), I'd like a 2021 NR refinished in this(Emberglow)color. I had my factory silver 62 Impala painted this color. It looked great-'til I got 'hitandrunned'.You’re probably right, Fiesta red would be a more traditional Fender color, but they did have CAR so it still counts. When young, the only adjustment that was ever needed was the volume knob, and that pretty much fixed everything. Must have been better volume knobs back then.I didn't even know you could adjust bridges when I was a teenager, truss rod? What's that? When I sold my first two year old P bass I had bought brand new, the buyer adjusted the neck and I thought wow! I still sold it though (needed the money).
