Morphine and Chlorpromazine...one makes you loopy and the other addresses the inability to think clearly. Sounds to me like going in opposite directions. Kind of like a speed ball.

chlorpromazine potentiates morphine. It can be a useful combination, but respiratory depression becomes a very concerning problem.

Stiff felt "jazz picks" (these days they seem to be known as "ukelele picks") are what I started out with when I was learning, and I still have a bit of a fondness for the sound.
But I never liked how quickly they deteriorate, and all the white-ish dust they leave behind, when used with roundwounds.....

One thing that I have noticed, in the current sample size I have available for testing, is that Peavey class A/B & class D watts seem to be quite a bit louder than Ampeg class D watts.....







....but it works to my advantage, so I don't really care much

Nope, both depressants, Thorazine (Chlorpromazine) was the first major tranquilizer for Schizophrenia and other mental illnesses and enabled a lot of people to leave institutions during the 50's. Combining them would not be a good idea. The doctors used to give large doses back then sometimes too and people would drool on their slippers. But I will defer to Pillo, he knows more than I do.

Agreed - similar-ish sound to finger-style, but with the playstyle of a pick. The trade-offs are short pick life, white dust all in your pickups area, and reduced ability to do fast picking.
Of course, these things vary depending on the particular qualities of the felt pick. Some are little more than a felt-covered standard 1mm-ish pick, some are very...floppy.
I like the 3mm ones that have flex somewhere between medium & firm, imo that gives the best compromise between sound & playability. Depending on what I'm playing........

Something I did about 4 years ago back in Mass, I used to do fill ins for the house bass player at a local jam which was a three piece, the drummer and keyboard player are the two members present here. I probably learned this tune at home on YouTube or something. I've played with all these guys in bands at various times especially the guitarist who usually gets a better sound than this but the band is yelling at my wife who was in Lima at the time. I doubt any of us have ever played this before. Tony Franklin Fender fretless, 70's SVT with a PR-410HLF cab. I usually bring a Fender to an unknown situation. This is the same afternoon as the other video I posted last week.

My favorite pick. Bought a bunch(dozen?)a few years ago; down to 2. Can't find them any more so I use plain ones.
