Thunderbird Club

He probably can explain why they drooled on their slippers much better than me.
I could write a fair bit on this topic but won't. Anyone who really wants to know can read the reader's digest version hidden below.

Inhibition of D1 dopamine receptors reduces the swallowing reflex (ahem) and results in the accumulation of saliva in the mouth and thus drooling.

Gotta goose those Q2 eye-bleach sales

I like DuckDuckGo but I will say one thing it has the absolute worst spell check I've ever seen, for example it kept highlighting neighborhood yesterday wanting me to separate it into two words.
I've been using Brave in recent months. Not a fan of Chromium based browsers, but I adjusted. I have nothing to hide, but have a strong dislike for most big tech companies and often their opinions they think everyone should adopt like lemmings.

When I worked for a general contracting company years ago we often had to work long and crazy hours. Our systems were at times just all messed up from schedules that were always changing. This was our breakfast of champions. We all had bottles in our gang boxes.

One of my wise profs in grad school always told us: You don't know everything, you'll never know everything, and you won't remember everything you once knew. But you can and must know how and where to find everything.
The first thing you learn on clinical rotations is to have a good peripheral brain. They used to be paper; now they are phone or tablet based.

The tube watts vs solid state watts wars . That's been good for at least 100 LONG threads.
Yeah, and I don't get it. Everyone knows tube watts are louder because the sound gets amplified by bouncing around in the tubes. I don't know why those crazy interweb myths persist. You'd think farcebook would fact check that with their experts.

One thing that I have noticed, in the current sample size I have available for testing, is that Peavey class A/B & class D watts seem to be quite a bit louder than Ampeg class D watts.....

....but it works to my advantage, so I don't really care much :)
When I used Ampeg 3Pros they seemed overrated. Never sounded like 450 watts at 4 Ohm even with the graphic EQ vol boosted all the way. My 100 watt V4B reissue is really LOUD.

Something I did about 4 years ago back in Mass, I used to do fill ins for the house bass player at a local jam which was a three piece, the drummer and keyboard player are the two members present here. I probably learned this tune at home on YouTube or something. I've played with all these guys in bands at various times especially the guitarist who usually gets a better sound than this but the band is yelling at my wife who was in Lima at the time. I doubt any of us have ever played this before. Tony Franklin Fender fretless, 70's SVT with a PR-410HLF cab. I usually bring a Fender to an unknown situation. This is the same afternoon as the other video I posted last week.

Sounds great! Better than some bands I paid good money to see.

I liked the sound of my SVT 3 Pro, but it never seemed as loud as the power rating. I have a 225 watt Peavey VB 2 tube head that seems MUCH louder than the 3 Pro did.
