Reminds me of a great album from a great band from Texas... (The album wasn't bashing the place that gave them the opportunity to do what they did.)
This song below got a lot of air play around here.
Story: I and a friend got to spend the afternoon hanging out with one of the guitar players (Kim Davis), when they opened for Rossington Collins Band. He told us to say something to him at the show and he would try to get us backstage. My friend and I knew he seemed like a cool guy but figured he wouldn't pay any attention to us. But after they came off stage we were at the side barricade and he saw us and came over and started talking again like we were old friends. A crowd surrounded us and he said he needed to take a shower and would see if he could get us backstage. He came back out and said he couldn't get anyone to give him some passes. So the guy stood there talking with us until RCB came out to play. Because Kim was talking with us, we got to meet most everyone in in RCB. Got to shake some good hands and exchange words because of Kim. (Kim also played with Stevie Ray V in Blackbird early on.) The guy was just so nice and down to earth. Sadly I read he took his life in 2010.
Well, internally connected to the cathode, at any rate. Whether that's grounded depends on how things are biased.
I love it. Especially if the act gets a bit risque'...

No, (I wish!) that one is Uwe Hornung's - Pic was taken when I visited him in Frankfurt.
I went ahead and put emg pj thunderbird pickups in. They sound waaay better. I do have an issue though. The way the p coils are situated, bending a string causes the volume to go up or down. Litterly the coils don't seem to be long enough. So, ill try these out and if I don't like em ill swap to a different neck pickup.
In Brasil too, this place I visited on one of my many odysseys down there although I didn't have to fly to this one being it was in my family's home state, if one didn't know any better, they may think they were in an Alpine Village somewhere although they may get a tad suspicious when they hear the locals speaking Portuguese with a German accent

I hope you bought them both. They’re two different TBirds with different pickups and tone. $300 for a standard Epi IV is a decent price if it’s in very good condition.
I’ll wear Levis and a black Thunderbird T shirt. Unless Chucky says look a bit classier.
