Thunderbird Club

That's like New Yorkers laughing at most people complaining about traffic.
Proof positive I'm weird. I drove in NYC traffic in 73(last time I was there). I liked it. At least people there were going somewhere, unlike tourists down here going "Look, Martha, it's a palm tree".

The last time I drove in Manhattan it took me about an hour to move one mile, no thanks. We have a lot of traffic out here too at rush hour but it does move a lot faster than that. I don't drive here and taxis are wicked cheap, the only reason I wish I had a car here was for gigs or to get out of the city. 1973 was a long time ago, the Mass Pike was always open with no traffic in 1973, now it's bumper to bumper often during rush hour and the weekends, especially Sundays

Another thing is they also changed the wiring, pre-1972 EB-3's have the choke in the circuit with both pickups selected (pos 3), taking all the bottom out of the bass which never made any sense to me, with the post-1972's the choke is only in pos 4 and is the neck humbucker, you can solo it with the choke or without in pos 1. I always unhook the choke in mine as they all 1970 or older.
