meaning it’s an Australian term for jeans?….everyone one my parent’s age called them that growing up…...Aussies.....

Did you get a refund or have to pay a restocking fee?Growing up (mostly in California and Colorado but parents from southern Illinois) we generically referred to all soft drinks as coke. I remember asking my first wife (from Cincinnati) if she wanted a coke? she said yes, so I asked her what kind of coke she’d like, Sprite or Pepsi. She thought I was on drugs (I actually may have been at the time but that’s beside the point). She said, “just give me a pop”. I’m thinking, in the shoulder??? She ended up with a glass of Pepsi.
On one of our first dates, I asked her if she wanted Milk with dinner. She responded, “Please”. So I poured her a milk and sat it down on the table in front of her. She looked at me like I had a third eye and said, I don’t want any milk. (At this time I’m wondering if she has a split personality). Apparently, unknown to me, in Cincinnati its common to say “Please” if you didn’t hear or don’t understand the question. I guess it’s short for “can you please repeat that”.
Side note - I found out after we got married she was in fact schizophrenic (and manic depressive) I should have paid more attention to my initial impression. Traded her in for another wife that wasn’t defective.
A little chuckle for a Tuesday:

That's good.Serious question. Wonder what percent of cyclists (male obviously), have prostrate problems and if it's higher than average. That prostrate wasn't made to sit on like that the way seats are made. Maybe it helps, who knows!
Thanks for asking, but no. We have experienced them, but not this time. I'm north central and they are south-eastern (ish). The blue box is the area affected. It actually goes a little further south. But the flooding is not as big as the box, that's just the region. That's part of the Appalachian mountain chain (Smoky Mountains in TN). There are few flat spots and all the water runs off the "hills" to where people live. Communities are literally in valleys which is where the water heads. It's prone to flooding, but that was way more rain than normal. Parts are very impoverished, but not all. It is part of that area where hillbillies live. Always thought it a good place to drop off repeat offenders and gang members. Those old boys wouldn’t take to that kind and it wouldn't go well for the repeaters.@dagrev
hey Dude, you near’em floods?
Just called Bibs here. Every guy should have at least one set. Fantastic for working. But we buy them in the right length.

LOL - I didn’t read the fine print before I entered the contract, all expenses incurred were non refundable and I also ended up paying a hefty cancellation fee on top of it.Did you get a refund or have to pay a restocking fee?![]()
