You have 7ender Jazz that sounds decent? Does it still honk or do the SITs really make it sound decent?
I had a similar experience with the SIT Power Steels on a bass I play once in awhile too.
Three of my favorites are in the shop. The ‘15 for what I hope is just failed bridge pickup pot . I don’t want to send it to Gibson. It just started cutting out right before I before I arranged to take some Thunderbirds in.
