Thunderbird Club

I love the Hipshot. The adjustability matters to me, and it does seem to have a bit more sustain (subjective observation). And the saddles can’t fall off. Got the silks off the saddles, too.
I think it’s a decent option for the three point. But the Babicz is better IME. Hipshot tuners are the best. And their customer service is top notch. Great company.

You’re moving some serious air with those. I have a soft spot for Traynor as that is what I frequently rented when needed in the seventies. Solid gear.
They used to be a common rental option around here in the late 70s early 80s. Rented a combo for a while in between amp buys. As you said, solid.

back to interrupt the usual flow of non sequiturs, but with relevant T-bird content. Here is 38 minutes of a show we played on Friday featuring nothing but my Epi T-bird. Played through a THDI with AGS engaged into a Trace Elliot AH200 GP12, occasionally boosted with a Spark Booster in front of the THDI. I really loved how it sounded!

Carry on team Thunderbird!

@lildrgn. Words cannot express how much I enjoyed this post. Your tone from the Epi IV is amazing! Your band is in my Spotify mix, so I’ve listened to these songs before. You guys are great live.

Your band is the type of project I’d love to be a part of. Congratulations!

I have two women to audition, one on 10/9, the other sometime after that - Right now I'm more enthused with my drummer, he's very good, we were working on "Don't you forget about me" last night and it just went so well, after four hours work we have at least 10 songs put together, really encouraging!
That is so great to hear! Getting ten songs down in four hours is an indication you’ve found a good drummer. Good luck with the singer auditions!

Random Jeff pic...............

I miss you all. I so wish we could get together more often. Jeff really needs to come west.

What a great compliment! Thanks @MCF! Really appreciate it!!

Feeling is mutual my friend.

It was such a great couple of days, meeting friends I’ve known online for several years. We are a great club.

My basement is done now so Seattle is an option for a GTG, there's a couple of good shops worth the visit here as well.

I can prob make it. If after all the holidays.
But the way i'm comfortably planted in that chair could be a precursor of what it would look like of me not leaving your basement. :smug:

Hardly. I should have worn that shirt when George and I had our one on one SoCal GTG. I know how much he likes Neil….
I’d have been ok with that. Whatever other people like is cool with me, I just wouldn’t personally go out of my way to turn his tunes on. Besides, love him or hate him, he’s still a rock icon, no one can take that away from him.

And such a sweetheart!
That she is. :D
