Unless I'm misunderstanding, if you're using a preamp pedal, couldn't you just put the Phase 95 after it and then just run the whole thing into the amp's FX Return? That's what I do with my 800RB pre pedal (when an FX loop is available).

Agreed, thats why I said often and not always, given taking decent pics isn't that difficult. Some people are just careless sellers (or hiding something) and want quick money it seems, but as you said, the quality of their pics can deter serious buyers. It says seems to say something about the seller given what you said about the availability of taking and posting decent pics. Kind of like showing up for an interview with you pants sagging and shirt open.

I find my wireless acts as an effective buffer at the beginning of my pedalboard. The Phase 95 might have been sucking off some high end?

I think any phaser I've tried tends to suck some upper mids and highs until they get to a certain point in the sweep. Kind of gives the perception of having more lows when playing live in my experience. Then again, there is the high probability I'm doing something not ideal. Everything but my BBE Sonic Stomp (loop), is before the amp.

LOL - Fender and Musicman could probably learn something from the build - Split P reversed like it should be, Stingray pup moved one coil north to warm it up, each pup on its own 2+ band preamp with stereo output, solid fast raw rosewood neck (no sticky gloss coat), brass frets and nut, 3 string tree for proper break angle on nut, and copper shielding everywhere.Fender should pay you at least a concept fee if not a whole design fee.

Love that Jazz. I have it’s sister bass, a matching 1968 Fender Precision. If I ever sell it (not likely) you’ll be the first person I call. Would be cool to have some iconic bookends.
Currently, I have three basses with dual single-coils, none honk - I try to avoid that sort of tone like....can we still say "like the plague"? Or do we have to specify which one, now?

I think "the plague" is still "the plague". As bad as the pandemic has been, it didn't kill 25% to 60% of the population[1] of any continent (or even a country).

I'll try that. Then again, the problem with either of these will be if I have to use the preamp's XLR to feed the house at some point. Might have to come up with a switching solution for that. Yeep.
