Thunderbird Club

Coincidence, I was listening to 60's music last night on YouTube and 'The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore' kept coming up.

Very good.

We start rehearsing it on Thursday. It's my B-day request for our show on Sunday J1. :bassist:

Nothing wrong with an Explorer-shaped bass!! Here is my 1982 Hamer Blitz Bass. Hands down one of my best sounding basses.

Agreed my Blitz is one of my best sounding basses!

After all the SIT string talk, I ordered a set of Dave Ellefson strings. For just over $16 shipped, how can I go wrong? I am interested in trying out a couple other styles from SIT and they are priced pretty nice.
Great. Looking forward to your impressions. I got my set cheap as well, so why not? Glad I did since they sound great on my one of the Jazzes. They are really nice strings at very reasonable prices and as good as much more expensive strings. Welcome to the cult! :laugh:

Depending on how many showed, it could get cozy. Which is cool -- a nice, intimate setting where we get to know each other and everyone's headstock.
<THWACK>
<SMACK>
<SNAP>
(Was that a Thunderbird headstock or someone's neck?)
<CRASH>
<THUD>
"Ow! Whose headstock just dove onto my foot?"
"Hey, Chuck, we warned you to wear steel toed boots, not sandals!" (Spoken by someone wearing dwarvish iron shoes)
:roflmao:

is Silbo Gomero a joke?….didn’t think so..

Oh, no. I meant that that whistling language belongs to another island, I live in one of the two capital islands of the Archipelago, but yes, it's still used today by people over that particular island. And actively promoted by that island's Culture Ministry.
