We’re glad to have you here Kara. I’m looking forward to another meetup.That's one of the several reasons I moved to CA from the mountains of E. TN - the lowest temp we've had this year was 27, in Feb.
It doesn't often get below freezing here - I think only like 17 nights/0 days this year (so far?)
I shouldn’t poke fun we have plenty of oddly named towns here as well. Plenty of Knobs for example, Sandy Bottom etc
And my AC went 'off' for the first time in ~9 months.
There's a place in east central Florida called "Yeehaw Junction". No big deal, right? The original name was "Jackass Junction". Map makers wouldn't print that, so...
My favorite west of Brisbane is Gympie (gimpy). Not named after me, but could’ve been.

According to FedUp, NBD will be tomorrow by end of day. Meanwhile(back at the ranch), this evening I found out my presence/presents is/are required 145 miles away tomorrow by 1400ish +/-.
Delivery will be ~12 1/2 minutes after I split.

I spent a week one afternoon in Yeehaw Junction, trying to thumb a ride with my ex (still friends). A car full of college students apologized they had no room (they really didn’t), and gave us a bottle of wine. After a bit, my ex had drunk most of the bottle, was hanging off me, and hitting on me. No shade, blazing sun. We did finally get a ride. I’ve never felt any desire to go back.

Oh, you'd like it now: they put in a traffic light, 2 new truckstops(tore down one of the old ones), and a sleepy trucker drove into-and destroyed-The Desert Inn.

I’ve missed a lot of posts the last month or so. Question: any word on Gibson maybe making the NR pickups available for purchase? @godofthunder59 mentioned this possibility a while back.
