Well, if your birthday isn’t until next month I guess I’m forced to retract my well wishes, and reapply them two fold at the appropriate time!I
Ugh. Just ugh. Out here, Fed Ex is better than UPS in my experience. Anything UPs from out of state to SoCal goes through the gang controlled, drug infested goes through
No. Not until next month.
…did you just get mugged mid sentence?I

I too am thinking Lull for the Bach II I’ll be getting soon (I still have dreams about yours). Anything to know about making the swap? Any problems re the fit?yeah but it probably worked out for the best….that blue finish is stunning….thought it was a Cataldo at first…,
Only $50 to ship makes it a fair price for what appears to be a ‘17 with the Wilkinson tuners and case. Mine is just like that one. A very nice Thunderbird.Enabler alert - seems like a good price w/Epi HSC included if in the market (no affiliation)

Saw him at a corporate event. Small room with maybe 50 people.Bond Girl Cherie brought that into our set-list recently. We haven't played it live yet, but it's in the cue. Always been a fan of CI.![]()
But the screws aren't. I'm sorely disappointed.Or at the very least, the size screws used.
The other less than ideal design “feature” of the Eppi Claw is the very small flat bottom not much wider than the screw hole…

A flat bottom and larger screws like Warwick uses would be a better design…

…for the OCD crowd - note the balls all perfectly in line!

Celebrated his birthday early a bit too much!…did you just get mugged mid sentence?![]()
Mine too. I'd love to play that bass. I would enjoy it more than the bass would....my favorite from @JIO your collection.....![]()

I think the Artec in the Bach has “squarer” corners - you’ll need a trim ring, or a new pickguardI too am thinking Lull for the Bach II I’ll be getting soon (I still have dreams about yours). Anything to know about making the swap? Any problems re the fit?
You're seriously asking why more than one bass even of the same kind? Are you OK? Dehydrated? For those if you with two VPs, why? Different strings giving different sounds?
Yes, just let that one go Jeff!!!I'm not even gonna......![]()

Simple. One is not enough.
My second was kind of an accident. I think it was Ken that noticed one used online and I was dumb enough to click on it. Once you click, you're in.... It was listed (GC) at a Classic but the pic was of a VP. Wasn't sure what I was going to get for $399 shipped. I would have contacted them once it arrived about it being worth more, but it had a slight neck crack and and a ding on the back edge. No way they didn't see or know if even casually looking it over, so I kept the great deal. The crack is not a issue and has been fine for years. String tension works to keep it closed not opened up, which would be concerning.
To your question: I currently have GHS Precision flats on the White VP and an old set of SIT exposed cores on the burst. Normally boomers sound great and are on the white on. Tried the flats and was really impressed. That's m..... situation.
