Thunderbird Club

"Wildwood" was also the dyed wood introduced on CBS Fender hollow-body guitars and basses in the late '60s. Pretty involved process of dying the wood in the tree before later cutting out wood for bodies/neck's out of it. A very organic cosmetic manipulation.

Fender Coronado basses are cool - always attracted to them. Fender did a sorta' RI recently but I'd rather have one of the originals from the late '60s. They had the 'stubby' Fender-stamped lollypop tuners like what was installed on the Mustang bass then. I have a set I bought a while back waiting for a 'resurrection project' Mustang.

Humm... I've had damaged goods insurance settlement fights with both - but FedEx was worse in my experience.
This is the second time FedMess has lost an item. First time it was a phone. That was comical (bot not at the time), and evoked the saying of my dad in that they "couldn't grab their butt with both hands." They lost it, found it, lost it, a week later said they delivered it at a really early time and argued they did. Told them there is a camera on the porch that said otherwise and one on the drive that says the truck was never even in the street or drive. I've had a day or so delay with UPS and USPS, but that's it. If I sell something I use the post office.

Fedmess will be initiating a claim today if they don't find the package, according to my case worker, or whatever she is called.
