Once you get it all sorted out I think you’re gonna love it. The embassy is a tad darker sounding than the VP (possibly because of the pup spacing) but the EBCF strings put some zing back in. I think it’s wired Vol/bal/tone but you could easily switch that to a vol/vol/tone if you wanted to. Here’s to enjoying a new bass

Yes, it's V-B(lend)-T. I've mostly got my 'standard' settings figgered out. Just a quick tweak of the Blend gives me all the versatility I need.

My old train, the Number 1 up the West Side to Land of the Fight, Land of the Might, Harlem, USA. I got out at 103rd. New York was fun in the early and mid 1980s. A bit of a zoo, but that was part of the fun.
