Very nice! I like the neck a little narrower than standard Fender.
Thx Irv. Indeed, it is, just enough for me to play my Thunderbirds comfortably.

Just desolder it at the lug. Leave the can connection attached.Last question before removing the connections in the bridge pot. Any reason to remove the connection between the right side lug and the can? Just grounding out that lug and not connected to anything else.
Also interesting how what you hear and experience from stage is often quite different in the audience. There were lots of technical difficulties (none of them mine) and I thought we must've sounded terrible, but everyone in the audience thought we sounded great. A good friend of mine said it's the best we've sounded. Amazing the perspective.
And here we go
Epi Goth body refin'd white, Aerodyne Jazz neck, Hipshot bridge and XTender (installing later today). Stock Goth pick-ups, came back with a top-notch set-up. Sounds like an e Epi Thunderbird IV (same pickups, I believe) which is fine and very different from the Silver FenderBird, which has EMG actives. Plays beautifully and should see action at next rehearsal. A 1/16" shave on both sides to adjust pocket to neck, depth untouched. Fretboard darkened a bit, body finished with satin polyurthane satin 0°, which protects against daily use. A charm to play !

A real beauty, I can't wait to get mine done, just gotta get a wide P neck
I bought an American Pro neck similar to those last year for a black P/J bass, not sure what they were made for as I've never seen an Am Pro Jazz with a black headstock..

Ok, disconnected all the connections and it has a full zero to 550 kOhm. Now time to resolder all the connections and to it right this time.
Any other suggestions before I start?
