Speaking of John, he got his catalog back.

The library at the law school I went to is the repository for all things Perry Mason. Scripts, etc. Long story. I’ll leave it that.I still watch it. Actually had some thought that went into it.
So are you only licensed to practice law in TV and film? The library at the law school I went to is the repository for all things Perry Mason. Scripts, etc. Long story. I’ll leave it that.
always dug the Hawks…..miss Wilson… really a Pats fan but as you know… when in Rome..Not that I'm a Niners fan..........cuz you beat the Seahawks 3 times this year, but dammit a win over Dallas would be nice today.

I deal with that every time I play through an ACC amp. Standing in front of it isn't all that loud, relative. Pants are flapping, but whatever. Back by the bar, guts are liquefing. Going wireless means I can do a sound check back there and figure it out before somebody turns into jello. Also interesting how what you hear and experience from stage is often quite different in the audience. There were lots of technical difficulties (none of them mine) and I thought we must've sounded terrible, but everyone in the audience thought we sounded great. A good friend of mine said it's the best we've sounded. Amazing the perspective.
I don't care for white, but that J is stunning. And I don't even like Jazz Basses. I would rock that one.Since I had the VP out of its case, decided to update my Fender + 'bird pic.....

My fretless is a completely modified Pro IV. I hated the pickups, preamp, and frets. It needs a refinish to be the way it should be.If there’s a bass missing for me….
Is a fretless.
No disrespect to Willy.
But I’d get a factory fretless.
I wouldn’t mind a TF in LPB.
But I’d def swap the pick ups.
That looks really good. You won't find purists around here.A little eye candy I saw on the internet…should please a lot of staunch Gibson/Fender only!
Color is beautiful and Tele neck doesn’t look out of place and compliments the body.

“Experience is what you get when you don’t get what you want”!!’Painful lessons. I don’t mind whipping out the multimeter, but when the result don’t match reality….![]()
I love my Barefaced 610. The few times I've played live lately, I've brought my Barefaced and my Verellen Meatsmoke. The tech usually spends two minutes rigging the DI, a minute complaining that I'm too loud, and another minute dialing in the sound, most of it coming from the stage. Then compliments. The BF is amazing. That’s the challenge with playing bass. Sound on stage is a whole lot different than sound at home.

Here's the other "B-side" track. The guitar-like instrument is a piccolo bass. I have always disliked that name for some reason or the other. Then I recalled how Zappa had a credit on "Hot Rats" playing an 'octave bass' and he explained that it was a bass strung with guitar strings and tuned to a guitar pitch. Thanks Frank!
A rather downbeat tune. I was listening to a lot of Eberhard Weber when I wrote it (or more like stumbled to it). Anyway the 'octave bass' gives it a certain sound and feel you can't get with a guitar.
I dig it - I love stuff like this. Probably a lot of TB members here don't know who Eberhard Weber is! Early Nels Cline Trio material can go to similar places.
One of my early NCT faves.
Thanks man, and thanks for the link! I've seen Nels twice with Wilco but haven't really heard his solo stuff. That first track itself sounded fantastic!
